ProCirCon - Developing professional competencies for circular construction

The development of the construction industry has a significant impact on the environment, and is redefining construction processes, the need for raw materials and building materials. In ‘ProCirCon’, partners from five EU countries translate environmental sustainability in the construction sector into the circular economy by looking at the entire life cycle of the building.

The aim is to make the key principles of circularity visible and tangible: Design for disassembly, recycling and the use of local raw materials as well as minimising waste at the construction site already, CO2 emission reduction options as well as cost optimisation through efficient cost calculation and reduced reliance on raw materials.
